WILL STURRIDGE-SUAREZ BECOME LETHAL PAIR FOR THIS SEASON?

Sturridge And Suarez: Touted to become the most lethal pair after Van Persie-Rooney
Suarez's comeback in the squad, just for 3 matches, indicating Sturridge-Suarez pair could become one of the most lethal strike partnership in Premier League this season. Just in 3 matches, both played together, Suarez came with 3 goals and Sturridge came with 2 goals, caught many eyes that something good could be happen for Liverpool this season.

On last season, Rodgers' tendency for free-flow formation, 4-2-3-1, occupying Sturridge in top striker and Suarez positioned on left cut-inside forward, the link between Sturridge-Suarez looked subtle, and I thought that Suarez and Sturridge, each of them are leading 2 different spear, lead attackers to dominate as long as they can in opponent's final third.

It seems like Rodgers' learning-curve looks better by time, measured by recent performances through good experiments to slot in Sturridge-Suarez pair to formation. Based on statistics from last 3 matches, Rodgers changed the formation, suiting the best line up he had at the moment.

Latest Liverpool's formation
This weird formation, what can I say is only to slot in Sturridge-Suarez pair, together leading attack, combining two distinctive type of strikers. Both of them sharing one similar style, like to beat defenders, Sturridge with good direct running and pacey, Suarez with flourishing dribbling skills, last 2 matches, this combination looks unstoppable. It was started by Liverpool defeat to arch rivals, Manchester United in Capital One Cup, the match where the experiment started. Cutting inside from Suarez with Sturridge holding in opponent's box, statistic looks not so promising, 18 shots with 4 shots are on target. Sturrige-Suarez experiments started to show a better progress, 15 shots with 6 shots are on target. And the progress continues, 13 shots with 7 shots are on target.

Thanks to Brendan Rodgers, the experiment is successful, SAS working well, more shots on target. If both player could stay fit or able to avoid any suspension, then it's a good news for us, as SAS is developing to become one of the most dangerous pair in Premier League.
